First gear and the last 2 gears are the same ratio on both transmissions (well technically first is 5.61 on the 4500 and 5.63 on the 5600), so you're really just upgrading to get an extra middle gear. Might be useful if you tow heavy a lot, but probably not worth the headache of the trans being longer.
